Coming back

I am wounded but I am not slain. I shall lay me down and bleed a while, then I shall rise and fight again.


Coming back from a whole year abroad is not like dying, but it`s like restarting life. And it`s hard to come back in a world where you don`t have something new at every corner. I am wounded from the greyness of my surrounding, but not dead from the depression.
So this old scottish quote is how I feel about coming back. I just want to take some time to be a bit sad, and then I`ll stand up again and look around for some other adventures.
